“What Does Real Love Look Like”

FOCUS (the core of the content to be communicated)

Love in action is both the confrontation & cure for everything in need of love’s life-giving & life-affirming presence. Any situation, let alone relationship,

devoid of love becomes very difficult at best & totally destructive at worst. This somewhat lengthy passage with which the apostle Paul concludes Romans

chapter 12 is very specific, practical & prescriptive. We’ll only be surveying it today with the hope of you revisiting it for a deeper dive in the days

ahead. The way this chapter ends is a culmination of everything before it. We’re in a battle that is real.The stakes are high. While the actual outcome

is uncertain to us for now, we can know that doing what God says is always the best thing to do.

Love in action …

1.

is an expression of God’s heart.

All the do’s & don’ts flow from the One who knows best. -Romans 12:9-21

2.

never concedes, but always confronts & conquers any opposition with an aggressive mindset & follow-through for everyone’s good.

Sincerity is the key that unleashes it all. -Romans 12:9a
